'Gossip Girl' actor Ed Westwick denies rape allegations

Actress Aurélie Wynn has accused Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick of raping her, days after he denied allegations of sexually assaulting actress Kristina Cohen.

Westwick has further denied both allegations against him in a tweet on Thursday.

“It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct,” Westwick tweeted.

He continued: “I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.”

Wynn took to Facebook to allege that Westwick pushed her “face down” and tore her one-piece bathing suit three years ago after she said she rejected his sexual advances.

“I was in complete shock,” she wrote, adding that she felt “powerless under his weight.”

She claims the incident occurred in July 2014 after she and Westwick “hung out” until 5 a.m. with two other friends in a large house Westwick had rented.

Wynn said the sexual assault happened when they had all decided to go to sleep. “I said ‘No’ and he pushed me face down,” she wrote in the post.

She said she is speaking up now after actress Cohen came forward Monday with a similar accusation, which the Associated Press reports the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating.

Westwick denied Cohen’s allegations Tuesday in a statement on Twitter. “I do not know this woman,” he wrote.

“I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape,” Westwick, 30, wrote on Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday.

Wynn said Westwick “passed out” after allegedly raping her and then she left the property. She said, at the time, she was dating former Glee star Mark Salling, who pleaded guilty to child pornography possession charges last month.

She said when Salling heard what happened with Westwick he “blamed” her and ended their relationship,

“My other friends and people around me told me it was best not to say anything, to not be ‘that girl’ and that no one would believe me and think I was just out trying to get my 10 seconds of fame,” she said.

“I am so incredibly thankful all of this is finally coming to light and that there is justice in the world,” Wynn concluded. “I believe you Kristina Cohen and thank you for speaking up so eloquently and really encompassing what young female actresses have to go through at the hands of men like Ed Westwick. Without you I would not have had the strength to speak up publicly about my ordeal. #metoo.”

Earlier this week, Cohen said Westwick raped her in 2014 in the guest bedroom of his house, where she was taking a nap. “I was woken up abruptly by Ed on top of me, his fingers entering my body,” she said. “I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f**k me.”
