Just went we thought Baby Shark couldn’t get any bigger!
Since gaining popularity in 2018, Baby Shark has taken YouTube and the Billboard charts by storm. The song currently has over 2 BILLION views on YouTube and actually peaked at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which ranks the biggest songs in the world. Now Baby Shark is looking at it’s next target – your TV.
Pinkfong, the creators of this incredibly catchy tune (that will be stuck in your head for hours) have announced they are making their way to Netflix. One of the company’s founders, Seungkyu Lee, told Bloomberg the company is “planning to release short videos via Netflix Inc., a cartoon series and a musical in North America this year.”
Yes, you ready that correctly. Short videos. A cartoon series. AND a musical? Please have mercy on us (and our ears)!! Apparently the short videos are set to his Netflix in march, with the other projects to follow.
