As the weather turns colder we once again start thinking of festive holiday traditions, with one of the most timeless being celebrating Christmas in the heart of downtown Hamilton at Gore Park. Presented by The City of Hamilton and The Downtown Hamilton BIA in partnership with CHML/Y108/95.3 FRESH RADIO, the annual Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting and Concert will take place this year in Friday, December 7 from 5pm to 7pm.
Enjoy free live music from the Troy Harmer Band, grab a selfie with Santa, enjoy some free maple taffy on snow and take in the Christmas décor around the park. New this year take your appreciation for downtown Hamilton to new heights with a free ride on the Ferris wheel located by the Gore Park fountain – you won’t be able to miss it!
Join us as we light up the downtown with the Christmas Tree of Hope and festive lighting in Gore Park at 6:30pm. Cash donations and unwrapped toys for the CHML/Y108/95.3 Fresh Radio Children’s Fund can be donated during the event December 7th.
The Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting and Concert marks the launch of Christmas activities throughout Hamilton. The Gore Park Ferris Wheel will continue to operate daily through December 23rd from noon until 8pm.
