After 6 successful years, the producers of The Vintage Marketplace are turning things upside down with the reprisal of the VMP Drag Fashion Flaunt. Hamilton has a strong drag community, and what better way to celebrate days gone by than with classic acts and fashion?
Produced by Hamiltonians, The Vintage Marketplace is a 2-day shopping event, selling and celebrating antique, vintage, retro and vintage-inspired collections and services. It welcomes a full spectrum of vendors and offerings including: furniture, clothing, home décor, jewellery, restoration, upcycled pieces, ads, memorabilia, and much more in between!
On April 6 & 7, attendees will be treated to the unique offering of a hybrid show, with 60+ vendors showcasing a variety of offerings. There will be something for everyone, as local sights, sounds and flavours are also featured. NEW this year: Family Zone with free Messy Play area.
Bon Temps (soon to be Hamilton’s newest restaurant) will provide attendees with sustenance and libations for a busy shopping weekend. Eye of Faithwill treat guests to daily drag shows at 12pm & 2:30pm. DJ Donna Lovejoy will spin vinyl records of days’ past.

The show runs Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. VIP Shopping Hour is 10am to 11am Saturday only, giving shoppers first pick for a $10 entrance fee. Regular Shopping Hours are Saturday 11am-5pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm, with a $7 entrance fee. Those who would like to attend can purchase tickets in advance through universe.com or at the door.
