Goemans Appliances Presents: Annual Kids Camp Lottery Fundraiser
In 2014, the Goemans Family held the first golf tournament fundraiser in honour of Hunter and Tony Goemans, called the Goemans Annual Memorial Event (G.A.M.E). The beneficiary was the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) and their Hamilton area youth camps. These camps allow many underprivileged and special needs children from all faiths and backgrounds, the opportunity to enjoy outdoor recreation regardless of their physical abilities.
Unfortunately, Covid-19 hit everyone hard, and community charities were no exception. Goemans was forced to cancel the Annual G.A.M.E Tournament for 2020, creating a severe funding deficit for the CYO. With the 2021 tournament also in jeopardy, the G.A.M.E committee knew they had to come up with a new way to support these vital camps. Out of this challenge, the Kids Camp Lottery was born.

The Kids Camp Lottery, running May 24th to June 20th, has assembled over $100,000 in prizes, donated by generous partners. Starting at only $5 a ticket, with 100% of donations going to CYO Youth Camps, people can show their support for this great cause and have a chance to win one or more of these amazing prizes!
